Every image keeps its paper trail.

Every Film Club separates film metadata, artwork sources, and rights information. When an external poster cannot load, the site shows an original generated EFC cover instead of broken media.

Film identities and metadata

Imported catalog records retain an exact Wikidata or TMDB identity. Current Wikidata P4947 and P345 claims are checked before a new TMDB record is admitted; title and year are never used to create a match.

Existing Commons artwork remains the first-priority source. The creator, license, and source links carried by each record remain visible on its film page.

TMDB artwork through lefilm.ca

Eligible records come from lefilm.ca through an exact TMDB ID and a source-owned TMDB archive. Every film keeps its exact TMDB movie URL; artwork is marked as belonging to its respective rights holders.
